Eligibility The Prize Draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or older only, excluding employees of Amazon EU Sàrl ("Amazon.co.uk"), the Prize Provider (defined below) their immediate families, and anyone connected professionally with the Prize Draw. No purchase is necessary but entrants must have an Amazon.co.uk account. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions and the decisions of Amazon.co.uk, which are final and binding in all respects Amazon.co.uk reserves the right to disqualify any entry from the Prize Draw if, in its sole judgement, the entrant has not complied with these terms and conditions, has tampered with the operation of the Prize Draw, or has engaged in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Amazon.co.uk, the Prize Draw, or any other entrant.
Prize
There will be 10 winners (together the “Winners” and each a “Winner”) who will each receive a year’s subscription of Iams pet food of their choice between the following:
(A) Winners who specify pet type as “kitten” will receive 4 orders of Iams Dry Cat Food Kitten and Junior Chicken 2.55 Kg (Pack of 3) during the course of the year; or
(B) Winners who specify pet type as “adult cat” will receive 3 orders of Iams Dry Cat Food Adult Chicken 3 Kg (Pack of 3) during the course of the year; or
(C) Winners who specify pet type as “mature/senior cat” will receive 3 orders of Iams Cat Senior and Mature 10 Kg during the course of the year; or
(D) Winners who specify pet type as “puppy (small breed)” will receive 24 orders of Iams Dry Dog Food Puppy and Junior Small/ Medium Breed 1 Kg (Pack of 4) during the course of the year; or
(E) Winners who specify pet type as “puppy (large breed)” will receive 15 orders of IAMS Puppy and Junior Large Breed Chicken Dry Dog Food 3 kg (Pack of 3) during the course of the year; or
(F) Winners who specify pet type as “dog (small or medium)” will receive 7 orders of Iams Dog Adult Sm/Med Breed 7.5 Kg during the course of the year; or
(G) Winners who specify pet type as “dog (large)” will receive 10 orders of Iams Adult Large Breed Chicken Dry Dog Food 3 kg (Pack of 3) during the course of the year; or
(H) Winners who specify pet type as “mature/senior dog” will receive 10 orders of IAMS Adult Senior and Mature 7+ Chicken Dry Dog Food 3 kg (Pack of 3) during the course of the year. (the “Prize”)
The Prize carries no cash value and may not be transferred or substituted, except that Amazon.co.uk may, at its sole discretion, substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Any Prize which is not redeemed remains the property of Amazon.co.uk.
Opening/Closing Date & Time
The Prize Draw opens to entries on 00.01 BST on 1 July 2013 and close at 23.59 BST on 28 July 2013 ("Prize Draw Period").
How to Enter
To enter the Prize Draw the entrant must answer the question and submit their name, email address, pet type, contact telephone number and postal address using the online form [x] within the Prize Draw Period. Amazon.co.uk will accept only entries that are completed and submitted in the format designated below. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. Duplicate entries are not permitted and will be disregarded. Proof of electronic submission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
The name of the winners and their county of residence will be provided on receipt of a written request sent to Amazon.co.uk.
Winner Selection
The Winners will be selected randomly from all entries deemed to be received with the correct answer by Amazon.co.uk after the Prize Draw Period. The Winners will be notified by e-mail within five (5) days of being selected. The Winners will have five (5) days from notification to respond to Amazon.co.uk to accept the Prize. Upon contacting Amazon.co.uk, a customer services assistant will help set up the Prize against your Amazon.co.uk account. If selected Winner (or any substitute winner) is ineligible, cannot be reached, or fails to claim the Prize within five days of notification, that Winner (or substitute winner) will forfeit the Prize and it will be awarded to a substitute winner. This process is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Non-winners will not be notified. The name of the winners and their county of residence will be provided on receipt of a written request sent to uk-pet-competitions@amazon.co.uk within 30 days after the end of the Prize Draw Period. By entering the Prize Draw you consent to Amazon.co.uk passing on your details to the Prize Provider any relevant third party for the purpose of contacting you directly in the event you're a Winner. By accepting the Prize, entrants consent to the use of their name, county of residence, likeness and/or Prize information for promotional and other purposes without further payment, except where prohibited by law.
