The 18 hole par 3 President’s Golf Course surrounds the hotel and enjoys spectacular views over St Ives and the surrounding coastline.
It is a challenging course that keeps players entertained. It is open year round to guests and non-residents.
The putting green offers a good selection of different scenarios for all to improve their putting techniques. Equipment can be hired from the golf shop.

Tregenna is a brilliant place for children. Castle Kids, the hotel’s childcare facility, runs a varied programme of entertaining activities that our younger guests love.
The estate itself offers 72 acres to run around in, with secret gardens and woodlands to explore. The outdoor pool is a favourite in summer but indoors there are ballsports courts and another swimming pool to enjoy.
St Ives’ wonderful beaches are great for different watersports and from the harbour visitors can watch the local fishing boats land their catch.
Shore Surf School is 10 years old, operates all year round and is the safest most established in the area, providing an excellent first class surfing experience. Shore Surf School is approved by the British Surfing Association and has the highest level 4 status. All instructors are BSA approved coaches, CRB checked, trained lifeguards and are accomplished surfers themselves with valuable local knowledge. Fully insured lessons are always undertaken in a safe and friendly environment.
Lessons tend to take place at Godrevy, a National Trust area of outstanding beauty, known for its water quality and regular dolphin visits. If conditions are unsafe lessons move to a more favourable beach within West Cornwall.
All equipment is supplied and is of the highest standard.
